WHAT TO EXPECT
The Sirens Ball aesthetic is best described as dark aquatic, fantasy elegant, and seductive. Sirens represent the powerful, unpredictable, watery, and dark feminine attributes in all. Whether Sirens are beautiful or monstrous often depends on who is doing the story telling. The dark feminine has long been feared and ostracized by the world of men. Depictions of Sirens, and Merfolk often vary depending on the region of the world they are from. Their true natures are clouded in the mystique of both lies and truth. Are Sirens simply misunderstood creatures… fierce protectors of their watery realms? Or are they predatory, carnivorous beings? How you choose to identify with these mystical beings is entirely up to you! The Sirens Ball also honors the deep. The depths of not only our oceans but of our own inner sea. We encourage patrons to connect with Water (be the physical element, or the symbolic archetypes water often represents).
The music genre for this event is dark aquatic, siren core, and femme fatale and will feature performers and activities also immersed in these themes.
