DRESS CODE ENFORCED:
The Sirens Ball is a FORMAL costumed themed event. Casual clothing (such as: jeans, sweats, shorts, khakis, flip flops, sneakers, yoga attire, tank tops, t-shirts etc...)  is not allowed and the dress code is enforced at the door. Formal evening attire in ocean and watery colors acceptable. Fantasy costumes are preferred in the following genres: Dark Siren, Mermaid, Aquatic Fae, Aquatic Monsters or Creatures, Dark Nautical. 


FOR INSPIRATION:
 Consider deep tones involving blues, greens, sea foam, purples etc. Try to stay clear of campy esthetics and aim for elegant fantasy. Incorporate elements of the ocean and watery realms such as seashells (ethically sourced of course), water plants, and other underwater treasures! Other accessories elements to consider including in your look: crowns, headpieces, light-up elements, other sea creatures, belts, sashes, capes, epaulets, walking tails, scaled leggings, fins, ear fins, body scales, webbed hands, water armor, and more.

Consider what type of siren or merfolk are you? Ocean and water folklore has a vast pantheon of merfolk beings (male, female, and non-binary and non-gendered) which include but are not limited to: sirens, mermaids, tritons, merrow, undines, finfolk, selkies, aparo, kelpie, kraken, nixes, vodyanoy, ningyo, jiaoren, renyu, aycayia, and many more! Look to mythology and your own cultural ancestry for inspiration!
