EVENT RULES
Any violations of this code of conduct may result in expulsion from the event and future events. Please help us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
NO WEAPONS
- No weapons are allowed.
- No outside alcoholic drinks or food
- No one under the age of twenty-one in the 21+ VIP designated area.
- No illegal drugs
- No smoking or vaping inside event venue.
- No smoking within 25 feet of all entries, exits, or open windows
- There is a zero-tolerance policy on harassment of any kind. The Sirens Ball represents a diverse community that welcomes all genders, legal age groups, ethnicities, national origins, sexual orientations. The Sirens Ball management reserves the right to banish anyone from the event who is found to be harassing another.
- Costumes do NOT equal consent. Do not touch anyone’s costumes or body without explicit consent.
- DO NOT interrupt a ritual or performance in progress. Be polite, quiet, and respectful. If you do not wish to participate, stand outside the ritual area.
- The Sirens Ball has a floor stage rather than a raised stage. Tall people should remain towards the back or to the side, and others in front should sit down during performances so all can enjoy the show.
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, LIVESTREAMING
- No photography, videography or live streaming of burlesque performances except for official event photographer/s with photo passes.
- No photography, videography or live streaming of other event patrons without their explicit consent.
- No professional photography allowed except for official event photographers w/ photo passes.
- No promoting, recruiting, or distribution of flyers for non-affiliated events or activities without the explicit written permission from Sirens Ball management.
- Only ADA service animals are allowed.
The Portland Armory has a strict ‘no glitter policy’. Please consider wearing fabrics and cosmetics which do not leave glitter and or other goop messes.
DRESS CODE
- The Sirens Ball dress code is enforced. No street wear, shorts, jeans, sweats, logos. Costumes preferred. Formal wear acceptable. Please see siren/mermaid aesthetic description below for more details.
- No clothing, garb, or costumes which depict hate speech, symbols or messaging.
