🌊 ABOUT THE SIRENS BALL
First conjured from the depths in 2016, the Sirens Ball has since become a shimmering centerpiece of the Portlandia Mermaid Parade & Festival—a three-day celebration of all things aquatic, mythical, and magical.

This immersive evening gala also serves as a fundraiser for the PNW Mermaid Confluence, supporting creative community-building and mermaid-centered gatherings across the Pacific Northwest.

🖤 EVENT VIBE
Sirens are ancient beings—feared, revered, and never ignored. Found in global folklore, they are embodiments of the dark feminine, mystery, seduction, and sea-bound power. Whether you see them as monstrous tempters or misunderstood guardians of the deep, the Sirens Ball invites you to step into the shadows of the sea.

This is a “mermaids after dark” experience—elegantly eerie, drenched in deep color, bioluminescence, and dark siren core energy.

For 2025, the Sirens Ball takes place inside FATHOM, a glowing, interactive undersea dreamscape in downtown Portland. Guests will wander through bioluminescent coral grottos, mirror portals, sunken ruins, and neon-lit chambers, encountering immersive light and sound installations that respond to movement, sound, and touch. The space comes alive with you—echoing siren calls, flickering sea-fire, and pulsing spectral currents.

Every step is part of the spell. Every space is part of the story. Expect mood. Expect magic. Expect the unexpected.

👗 DRESS CODE (ENFORCED)
The Sirens Ball is a formal, costumed event.
Casual wear will not be permitted. This includes:
🚫 Jeans, t-shirts, khakis, sweats, yoga pants, sneakers, flip flops, etc.

✨ RECOMMENDED ATTIRE:
Formal eveningwear in oceanic tones and textures, or fantasy costumes in one of the following genres:
• Dark Siren
• Mermaid / Sea Witch
• Aquatic Fae or Elementals
• Sea Monsters or Ocean Creatures
• Dark Nautical / Ghost Ship Chic

This is not your average dance party. You won’t hear top 40 radio hits or bubbly beach pop. Instead, we summon a haunting, hypnotic mix of:
