EVENT VIBE
Sirens have long been feared... mysterious creatures whose mythology spans around the world in every culture. The SIREN represents the dark feminine attributes in all. Whether you identify these beings as ferocious monsters, or misunderstood defenders of the deep, the Sirens Ball is a 'mermaid after dark' event and is in the genre of dark siren core.
DRESS CODE
The Sirens Ball is a FORMAL costumed themed event. Casual clothing (such as: jeans, sweats, shorts, khakis, flip flops, sneakers, yoga attire, tank tops, t-shirts etc...) is not allowed and the dress code is enforced at the door. Formal evening attire in ocean and watery colors acceptable. Fantasy costumes are preferred in the following genres: Dark Siren, Mermaid, Aquatic Fae, Aquatic Monsters or Creatures, & Dark Nautical.
MUSIC
This event will NOT be playing top radio hits, pop-rock, or bubble pop music. The music compilation for this event comprises a mixture of Siren Core, Dark Wave, Siren Goth, Femme Fatale, Baroque Pop, Indie Rock, Witchy, and Alternative Folk. If you are unsure how to vibe or dance to this music consult with your local witchy, siren, or goth friend as they are sure to give you some tips! Better yet, bring them, and let them show you!
